At work

• This week was all about finishing up some key screen designs after weeks of wire framing. It's exciting seeing the project progress - one step closer to going live
• SofaConf launched this week. Unfortunately I didn't have as much time as I had thought to watch along live - looking forward to catching up on the talks next week

After work

• Clearing some time next week to setup some new computer equipment - it's been around 8 years since the last upgrade

Links and inspiration

• This year I made a personal promise to learn how to animate my illustrations. This article from Creative Boom features 14 designers and illustrators who moved into animation. Guy Moorehouse has always been a favourite of mine
• I learnt that the "background-repeat" property can take "space" and "round" values

Life

• My partners father came down to help finish off our kitchen - which is still a work in progress
• We also had some friends come and visit - so it's been a busy week all round
• One week of school left before the summer holidays arrive
• Looking forward to re-connecting with my Mum - we've not seen each other since the lockdown began
