Introduction
Having recently put together my portfolio website, I wanted to create a space where I could post my thoughts, ideas and visual inspiration but had a different look and feel to the clean and contemporary image that my current portfolio website portrays.
Summary
The site is built using Tumblr which is essentially the Twitter of the blogosphere. It allows you to post snippets of information such as notes, quotes, videos and pictures with ease.
I decided to go with Tumblr rather than any other blog system because of this reason - I'm not a full blown blogger! There are also many ways to get your content online, from iPhone applications, telephone, direct AIM and Email.
I had to create a custom Tumblr theme in order to use my design, which was very easy implement using Tumblrs templating language.
This is also one of the very few sites I've put together that doesn't support IE6. Amen!
